German is a big deal at Providence High
Dear Readers,
As you know, one of our latest scholarships has been awarded to Providence High School with 400 students in the German program!
In addition, I, myself did a presentation at that school in front of Christina’s German class as well as her exchange student. The topic was ‘Erneuerbare Energien’ and it was held in German. I was very impressed about the participation of the classroom! I also had the chance to introduce the Apprenticeship Program at STEAG.
Now, the Charlotte Observer picked up on this and they state: “….The Providence German team hopes to bring in speakers from local German companies and possibly connect with German apprenticeship programs, where students spend part of their time in vocational schools and the balance in a company’s training program, where a job awaits….”
